Sunshine and Samples at Mahomet Craft Beer Festival | JT Walker's & Mahomet Chamber

The second annual Mahomet Craft Beer Festival took place last Saturday.  This festival is the brainchild of Justin Taylor, the owner of JT Walker's.  He collaborated with Mahomet Chamber of Commerce this year to make the event bigger and better.  More breweries were in attendance this year and they also added a BBQ competition.  And the perfect spring weather (something we haven't seen much of this year) also helped draw a larger crowd this year.  This festival is a great opportunity to try a variety of beers from Illinois craft breweries, each pouring two or three different beers.  Alto Vineyards was also in attendance offering a variety of wines.

In addition to beer and wine, this family-friendly street festival had several food options, including Chester's BBQ and Jenkins Catering.  Homer Soda Company was also pouring craft root beers and a variety of flavored sodas, popular with the under 21 crowd and adults alike.   There were also a variety of musicians performing throughout the event maintaining the fun backyard party atmosphere.

Check out a few of the pics taken at the festival.  Scroll to the bottom if you want to view ALL the images from the craft beer festival.

If you are involved in an event you'd like to have photographed, shoot me a message.  I'd love to hear more about it.
