And removing stress from the ordering process is just one part of that equation. Wall art and albums are the two products that are ordered almost every time regardless of the type of session. There have been many studies conducted on the value of photography and the self-esteem children gain when seeing images of themselves displayed in the home.

“I am very conservative about self-esteem and I think placing a family photo someplace in the home where the child can see it every day without having to turn on a device or click around on a computer to find it really hits home for that child this sense of reassurance and comfort. They have a certainty about them and a protecting quality that nurtures a child. It let’s them know where they are in the pecking order and that they are loved and cared for,” says Krauss.

If you'd like to read more about the value in printed photography, you can read one of the articles here. As a horrible decision maker myself, I know how difficult it is to not only decide which images I want to display but also ensure they are sized appropriately for the space. When making an investment, I want to make sure I get it right and honestly before I invested in this new software that I explain below, I just put off hanging anything cause determining sizes was difficult. I used this same software to design the acrylic collage of my own family that is proudly displayed in my dining room. You can see an image of my own wall below the directions. Let me help guide you by allowing you to see YOUR images on YOUR walls before we even place the order. It's so slick! Check it out!
Here is my wall. My boys and I see this every time we sit down at the dinner table. It's the best money I've spent in redesigning some of the main living areas of our home. I absolutely love it. So take 30 seconds taking pictures of a few walls in your home that you might want to display images from your session and email (heather@sweetlemonadephotography.com) or text them to me (217-840-2444). Then at your ordering appointment, together we can come up with a variety of options for you so you can confidently choose the one that is best!
